In honor of Kim Sjostrom

For those of you who don’t know the story of Kim Sjostrom, she passed away on January 19th during her wedding. She had only been married for less than an hour when she collapsed in her husbands arms during their first dance. Kim, 36, passed from heart disease.

Her husband Teddy Effkarpides consoles himself by reading a list of “101 Reasons Why I Love You” that she had given him on their first christmas together. “Number 1. You make me smile.” and No. 98 is especially difficult: “you’re the one I want to grow old with.”

After reading this story on Yahoo.com it made me want to compose a list for the man in my life telling him 101 reasons why I love him.  Even though I’m sure he knows there are many ways and reasons why I love him, I know I would be devastated if something happened to me and I never told him that instead of just one, two, or ten things- there were one hundred and one things about him that I think are amazing!

I wanted to pass this idea on to all you ladies out there and encourage each of you to take the time to write out a list for your significant other and tell them, show them, all the ways and reasons why you love them.
